1Collision Adds First Kansas Location to Nationwide Network

1Collision is excited to announce the addition of Crossroads Collision in Salina, KS, to the nationwide network of independent collision repair facilities. Established in May 1983, Crossroads serves Abilene, Concordia, Ellsworth, McPherson, Salina and the surrounding areas.

Greg Anderson, owner of Crossroads Collision, said the company prides itself on restoring vehicles to their pre-loss condition and strives to make the customer experience hassle-free and painless.

John Hollingsworth, 1Collision’s director of business development, said Greg and the team are always looking for ways to improve their business.

“They do a lot of things in-house, including their own ADAS calibrations, and want to focus on fine-tuning their processes,” said Hollingsworth. “Our team is a perfect fit to help them accomplish this task and we look forward to helping them reach the next level.”

Greg and his wife, Heike, learned about 1Collision through a friend and felt the network would be a good fit for their business.

He said they look forward to working with the 1Collision field operations team to refine their standard operating procedures (SOPs) and office processes.

“You don’t know what you don’t know,” said Greg. “It’s great to work with people who are knowledgeable about the industry and learn from their experience and insight.”

The shop was originally owned by Greg’s dad, Mike. In 2014, Greg and Heike purchased the body shop. Since then, they have focused on repairing all vehicle makes and models and currently have 16 employees, including a certified glass technician.

The facility is I-CAR Gold Class, certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and a member of Kansas Autobody Association.

“Training and certifications, along with continuing education, are important to our business to ensure we are repairing cars correctly and meeting our customers’ needs,” said Heike.
